The 71 makes for a very nice addition there.

WINGIN IT

What you need is a 69 in there, ( 500 or Daytona will due  ;) )
Then you'll have the best years represented  :D

Ghoste

Or extend the bird theme to a 69 A12 Runner and a 68 as well?

Second cruise night,,  My son drove car ,  just got back to farm and heard a clunk.....So LUCKY he was not on highway at 55...I count our blessings!

A383Wing

damn...that was lucky...what broke?

XS29J

I think the bearing went out in front  all lugnuts were in the dogdish with the bearing cap...

Fred

Crikey, how lucky he made it home.  Always easier to sort these things out at home. Plus the fact that a possible bad accident was avoided.

Hemidog

Ouch, I guess you guys were lucky. What are the damages?

JB400

That sucks.  I've jerked ball joints out of the upper a arms before.  That is no fun.   This doesn't look any better.  I hope the list of parts that are damaged is a short one and easily obtainable.

nvrbdn

looks like no fender damage. very luck on this one. my kid didnt tighten his lugs good on a rear tire on his cuda and lost it going around a corner and destroyed his rear quarter. :rotz:

GO SELL CRAZY SOMEWHERE ELSE WE ARE ALL STOCKED UP HERE

No fender Damage... Looks like lugs came loose and tire just fell off.  The front bearings seem really loose thou so I guess new hub bearings and press in studs will probably be the extent of it
the rim holes got a little bigger to  lucky they were not the original 450's  they are still in the trunk.

Sorry to hear about this "issue" but it could have been much worse! I was cringing when I saw the tilted wheel picture.....
Love the look of the car by the way, right color, year and powerplant! :2thumbs:
