Picked up the yellow daytona clone last night. Dane did an outstanding job on this car. Apparently it did not want to leave Oregon however, when it arrived in Louisiana it would not crank. I finally diagnosed that the 70 ignition switch has gone out. Should not be too hard of a fix. Jumping at the firewall gets old quick with hood pins.. The car gets ridiculous attention, it feels almost like my old general lee did back in the day. My wife has fallen in love with it, and "thinks" it's going to be her car now..   :hah:   :brickwall:

Now it's time to kill me with pictures, huh?   :brickwall:  OOOps, I just noticed something, my aviator needs to be changed. That just kills me about the ignition. We drove that all the week before, never an issue. Have you changed those things before?

Hey you teased me with enough pics and videos! Yeah I changed out the ignition switch on my purple 70 last year. Shouldn't be too bad. Part is in stock at parts store.
I can't wait to get the red one and do a "Dane special" 2 wing car photo shoot.. lol

i have 2 bay doors but i only use the one... it's 50x100. i can drive them around in there, it's not that difficult really.  :cheers:
