Did superbird every come with rear speakers.

My guess is probably only if ordered with one...or 2 - depending on type of radio - etc.

With the raised package tray i wonder how you could mount it !! :scratchchin:

I was going to hide then under the tray :scratchchin:

Might work but rear speaker and rear defogger were not an option on the bird.

I've never really paid attention to the Superbird package tray... :scratchchin:

What is so different that would exclude the rear speaker and defogger ?

Both options were available on the Daytonas, right ?

I assume that the extra labor operation to put holes in the package tray are what made the rear speaker option not possible.   My car had a set of Jensen speakers installed under the tray early in life.  But the holes in the tray never got cut.

The Superbird package tray does not sit flat on the panel like the Charger .
