Short video clip of Foyt putting his upright dirt car on the pole at Milwaukee in 1965 against the rear engine Lotus Fords.   An amazing feat.

I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

He did it again in 1969.  Ran Springfield on Saturday.  The next day at Milwaukee, the rear engine turbocharged car had problems.   He qualified the dirt car 14th and finished 9th.

C5X DAYTONA

Smokey Yunick on A.J.      I just love Smokey's interviews.                         http://youtu.be/KGoMKX-Hra4
Caution.... Low flying aircraft.

Smokey's philosophy on nearly everything should have been immortalized in a book.  I hear people knock him (or Grumpy Jenkins as well) because he was a Chev guy and I think how being narrow minded just cheated them out of some valuable insight.
