Glendale Speed Center?  In "Two Lane Blacktop" when they stop for gas the first time, is there maybe a character in that scene wearing a Glendale Speed Center t-shirt?  Gonna have to watch the film again now.

  thought that name sounded familiar  ,  never connected to 2 together , until you mentioned it     think it went , anything fast around here , & the guy wearing the tshirt  mentioned a panel truck & transmission trouble
