Nice, I'm about to do the same thing. Do you have rust at the bottom of the windshield?

No but I had the car acid dipped 2yrs ago and then epo primed. There was rust along the seem between the firewall and the floor pan. Both drivers and passenger side. If you look closely you can see a patch I have cut out on the passenger side. And some of the spot welds are only accessible from the engine side.
