Did the frame rail one get used then?  I thought that didn't begin until mid 70's?

I've never seen a picture of a VIN on a frame rail from any year. Does anyone have a picture of that location?

The VIN, or at least part of it, should show up on:
The dash VIN plate,
the fender tag,
the driver's door sticker,
the trunk lip,
the radiator support,
the engine,
the transmission,
the build/broadcast sheet,
and the title/registration of course.

Arnie, as not all of those places were VIN locations every year, you may want to include the years for which those locations apply.

True.  I assumed that since the car in question is a Superbird that the discussion was limited to 1970 B-Bodies.
