I was thinking the filler was just getting OCD, but then I realize it is functional as it will aide cooling to the radiator.  Are you going to paint to match the car?

Leave the holes alone, your adding useless weight by welding them up!

Your car should be displayed at the Smithsonian!

It is not the first time that I have been diagnosed with OCD (Obsessive Charger Disorder;-)
With the filler along with all of the holes on either side of the radiator support that I have welded over, I think it will direct more airflow through the radiator instead of up and over or around.
I will paint it black just not sure if will be gloss black or low gloss black as the grill support was originally.
Thanks
Pat

Passenger door gaps took a little more work. I had to add metal rod along the bottom edge and 1/2 of the front edge.
Thanks
Pat

Aweson works man

Thank you!

3rd and maybe final coat of primer on the hood and tops of both fenders? Very happy with all the gaps. This bodyworks part of the build sucks, I'm starting to get Popeye the sailor man forearm ;-)
We also have a new addition to the family :-)
Thanks
Pat

Beautiful laser line tight gaps. I'm hoping I can improve on the factory's huge gap lines too. As it stands you can virtually get into the car WITHOUT opening the doors!!
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you !!

Lennard

Wow, those gaps are perfect!   :2thumbs:
Also, beautiful puppy you have there, congratulations!

Yes all the gaps, hood, trunk, and doors are typical late 1960s quality.  Good luck correcting yours, it's a lot of work.
Thank you

Thank you Lennard! We lost our 12-year-old yellow lab a few months ago, I only hope the new pup is half as good as she was.

I'm sorry to hear that your dog past away.  They are like family members and it feels the same when you loose one.

Showoff!

Seriously though, those gaps couldn't be any more perfect, way to go!

Oh, and cute puppy. I love the Godfather name you gave him. :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Mud work is done on the passenger side, and I sprayed 3 coats of high build primer now it's ready for some blocking sanding and another 3 coats of high build primer.
Thanks

I was hoping to post update but it looks like photo bucket is holding all of my photos hostage for a $400 a year payment to use their so-called free site :-(
