try to find a gravestone shop or something like that ( I don't know how it calls that kind of "shops" there, if we call it "shop " LOL )... maybe on a graveyard. They make the graves letters. With just an original they can make the cast and won't need to chrome, because the metal is already shine and plated... will need just to paint the red and black areas.

Maybe Chris will be able to make a candle wax cast to start with it.

just throwing ideas.

About window weatherstripes... I could made them A LOT BETTER here by myself buying by meters and pay half of price... even better: without shipping fees and with the chrome strip that repros don't have.

I have to consider the fact that when you made your first comment, you had never seen a R/T dash emblem before, let alone
one in NOS condition. So how you can come to your opinion? No logical answer

Oh well, yes I had seen ( on pics ) that emblem... in fact the Chris' one on his cluster, so I did know from the begining how it looks. This topic about the R/T emblem was touched on the old board.

Once and again, sorry if I'm being misunderstood.

and my GRRRRR comment was about the stuff I could reproduce better that YO sells hehehe.

I kind of hate to admit this, but 25 years or so ago, I bought one of those from the dealer and cut the tabs off and glued it to my toolbox where it remains to this day.

Hey Natch, which window strips did you order from YO?  I ask because I thought they sold a generic replacment and a premium one and that the premium was supposed to be an exact repro with the chrome strips and all?

Nacho-RT74

I got what THEY SAID WAS PREMIUM... a friend of mine up there called them asking for the 71/74 ones and they said all were premium now ... FALSE!!!

If that's premium, then they need to bring out a premium correct or something like that.  Sorry to hear it went down that way.
