Hi AeroFolks.
Lost all my info on C500 headlight support (buckets).
Was it correct they are 68 Coronet.
I assume they are welded in at factory?
Does anyone sell them separately?

Does this maybe mean a Junkyard trawl???
Oh well any excuse to fly over to get outta the rain lol!

Best wishes Jon

Greetings,     Yes the pieces you need are in the front of the front fenders of a 68 Coronet and they will need to be cut down.  I would guess the original pieces for the 500S were a smaller piece of sheet metal put in the stamping dies and  were the right size when they came out. :shruggy:  I can send you a picture of what you will need as I have a set of pieces for my replica stocker.

PM your address to me and I will send you the pix.

I don't know if these would work for you cut down but I cut these headlight supports out of my 1970 Charger fenders. If you are interested in them send me a PM.

Many thanx for the offer Steve.
I believe the Charger ones are not the same?
From what I remember they are removed(or not fitted yet)from 68 Coronet fenders to match the 68 Coronet grille.
They are probably given to Creative Industries as a basic stamping and then modified to fit the 69 Charger-grille.
I believe they were never available as a separate piece to the public.
Of all the peices to lose, they must be the worst.
No repro or NOS ones were ever made.

Looks like its a trip to the desert yards for a lucky find!
Best wishes and thanx for any leads on some.
