Saw an "origonal" daytona at wildwood this weekend. Dont know if its a member here or not. Certain things just jumped out as wrong to me but i dont know the specifics on wing cars so i will ask. Did daytonas come with column shifts and 8 3/4 rears? Those were the 2 major things jumping out at me. This was a XX vin car on the dash and it was a cool car that was clearly driven due to the dents dings and scratches, which i can appreciate and respect.

Yes, it very well could have come with column auto and an 8.75.. I have seen more than a handful of them.......

I like those wheels, I think I would like them on my 500, What are they Troy? 15x8 or 15x10"? plain steel wheels from Stockton wheels? They have a step in them like they were 14" centers with a 15" ring welded on them.

It was a cool car. It has a nasty dent on the left 1/4 that made me cringe looking at it. Probably not a fun story to tell. I love wing cars. They fascinate me.
