Except the Front Park/Turn lamp assemblies not fitting the sheetmetal, those went well.  A little wire repair properly done with butt splices and glue lined heat shrink tube.  Test the assembly before install.

Oh wait this one does not work. No light at all.
Ohm meter finds no continuity from the bulb holder to the housing.  Bulb holder was crimped to the housing at the factory.  What to do? Ruin by dismantling?  Run a teensy screw thru the two to tie them together?

AHA
Get a 3/4" or so wrench out, that the bulb holder body just fits thru
clamp that in the vise horizontally, to hold and support the bump holder/ lamp assembly all around the outer lip pf the bulb holder. Stake 5-6 places along the factory crimp, with a pointy tool.  SUCCESS.  The bulb was not in place during the staking process.

Now, MOUNTING these park light assemblies was a painful process.  "L" fit better on the RH side and vice versa.  We had to give up on the top screw because with the two lower screws loosely in place, the top arm of the lamp was AN INCH AWAY from the sheetmetal tab of the [Chinese?] valence panel. No matter whether the LH cavity was fitted with the L or the R assembly.  No fit, no way.
