Yeah, there are a whole bunch of other great photos of this car already on here, including some before the currently claimed pedigree.

Excuse me for not knowing the legitimate history of the car.  I just thought it was a great collection of pix of a stock car of the time period, regardless of who's name and number is on the door.  They showed a few modifications that I myself have been considering.

Here's a new pic - illegal fairing between the fuel tank and bumper - not legal for 1970.  "Fake 88" in the Museum also has this 1968 feature under it. Still another thing that proves the car was never raced in 1970 as a Daytona.  The hood pic clearly shows a 100% street hood, too.
Many of the other street features have been discussed on other threads....

JB there is no need to ask forgiveness, my post wasn't to chastise you for not knowing but to make sure search engines being used by anyone actually considering buying that car from Canepa under it's false pretense might be inspired to dig a little deeper.

oh, here's yet another for the list of "Why this car never raced as a Daytona"

The floorpan is not modified for the 'Talladega' sized torsion bars. 
Nichels cars with the "X" brace need a special modification, not present on the #6 'Show car Daytona."

Wish I could mention it specifically, but then they might add it...
