I've found previous threads on this topic with no luck.  I bought the standard 69 Camaro chin spoiler for my 68 but it is not wide enough for what I want to do.  On the front valance panel, the 2 outer access holes I have brake duct tubing going to my Wilwoods.  These holes are parallel to the ground so not much air will be passing through.  What I need is a chin spoiler wide enough that extends the length of the valance and behind these holes as to direct air to the brakes.  The last option would be to buy some small canards and place them behind the holes.  I remember seeing a pic from 69 from Direct Connection advertising a full length spoiler that was friggin perfect, yet they don't make it.  Any help would be appreciated. :2thumbs:

VERY Rare part indeed!  :scratchchin:  I've wondered if 3rd gen B Body "Boomerang" spoilers would adapt to a 2nd gen. Charger somehow?  :shruggy:

Fab what you want in cardboard and take it down to local sheet metal shop to bend up for you.

WHITE AND RED 69

I just cut up 2 69 camaro spoilers to add 4" to each side. Lines right up with the lines of the valance and only cost about $50 for the 2 of them.

QuoteMike, is that what you did on yours?  Looks good from here in your avatar.

On the 72 I made the template and then bent the aluminum between two boards with a heavy sledge hammer. To do this, you have to progress slowly and have a lot of patience or you warp the metal. I wish I had a sheet metal brake, but how often would one use it?

On a previous custom truck I built, I had a local sheet metal shop cut and bend a spolier to a template I had made. It was a little more complicated with multiple bends and was not a do-it-at home job. It only cost and hour of shop time and the cost of the metal (cheap).
