Few questions, did you guys go all the way up the firewall inside with the fatmat or whatever then cover that with firewall insulation? Did you cover drain plugs as well on the floor?

I made it easy on myself and didn't install any sound deadener other than undercoating. It doesn't seem noisy to me at all. Besides, I'm didn't do a nine-year restoration to avoid all the nuances of the 60s muscle car experience. :cheers:

The deal here is no half measures......no shorts cuts.........don't half ass it.

If you're going to the trouble and expense of sound deading installation
then do it right. If that means going up the fire wall OEM style then..........
Make it so number one!

I drove it as a rotted out rattletrap for 13 years, I figure your right and while I have the opportunity now after 9 years I might as well do what I can  :cheers:

Did you cut out holes for drainplugs or go right over top?

its not likely you will ever remove them anyway. no need until the next restoration.
