Bird Under body/carraige Factory Primer dip (need an update and photos please)

Was looking at an older thread on proper "factory" underbody appearance for a non-rust proofed Superbird

I know they did a primer dip on the lower body (say up to mid wheel well) so there should be an inside and outside line.

What I am trying to find is a color sample of the factory correct color.   In the older thread it mentioned Rick's Resto's sold this but I couldn't find it from the link.  In lieu of a referral - some paint codes would be nice.

In addition I'd love to see a few photos of a factory correct paint job.

Thanks for any help in this regard.

i think you will find some helpful information in john's superbird thread

it's possible i am thinking of john's daytona restoration with regard to the photos, but i'd wager it was the same process on the birds

gene's restoration thread is also a wealth of information on the subject, albeit also the dodge version

I remember Roger Gibson/Frank Badalson were selling the "dip" paint. I don't think they do anymore. My local guy had his own formulated and puts it back on - on the bottom and the inside and outside as well.

The cars were dipped, but not all the way. Most of the roof was not in the mix.
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

Dave Patik from PCG in FLA. should be a lot of help and there was a thread on Moparts from Dave Walden and his 70 Valiant titled taking it to the next level which carries tons of good carry over info.
wingless now, but still around.
