Friday:
Lot F72.1 Yellow 440-6  automatic console bird, 27850 miles with broadcast sheet, not numbers macth $125,000 https://www.mecum.com/lot-detail/SC0516-251697/0/1970-Plymouth-Superbird/Automatic/

Lot F143 white 440-6, 4 speed, matching # engine, bench seat 27,000 miles a NO-SALE at $140,000. I believe it is a member's car-it looks familiar https://www.mecum.com/lot-detail/SC0516-243255/0/1970-Plymouth-Superbird/4-Speed/

Lot F150 Sassy Grass Green AAR Cuda, no sale at 80,000, completely restored, matching # engine https://www.mecum.com/lot-detail/SC0516-243169/0/1970-Plymouth-AAR-Cuda/Automatic/

1970 Hemi Challnger R/T no sale at 240,000
1970 Hemi 4-speed (originally automatic) Road Runner no sale at $60,000
1970 Lot F187 Hemi GTX, 4 speed buckets-best deal of the entire show sold at $65,000!
1967 Hemi GTX 4-speed sold at $57,000- a beautiful blue, another one also sold at 63,000 and a yellow one sold Thursday for $55,000
1965 A990 sold at $95,000
1964 330 Lightweight a no sale at $130,000

Thursday-not much there, 1 AAR was a no-sale at 75,000 but it had a modern 5-speed transmission. A 66 Barracuda resto-mod sold for $31,000. A 78 Lil Red Express was a No sale at $28,000, A 72 Duster sold for $32,000-very nice car. 300 Chevelles were sold along with 400 Mustangs.

Lots and lots and lots of Mopar flippers not accepting prices that are frankly more than the cars are worth-they should be selling these cars-I have seen 8-10 Gen 1 Chargers and Road Runners bringing ridiculously high bids and the sellers not accepting them. Going to try and go back this afternoon. Several real nice AMC muscle cars sold for low prices.

I wonder who comes up with the estimated values on the car's page?  It looks like the owners pulled the cars when they didn't hit it.

Hey Bob,

Having sold 3 cars at Mecum auctions I can tell you for sure that when there is a reserve the auction house is bidding against one person or no one to jack up the price near the reserve in hopes that someone bids. Otherwise it goes to the "bid goes on" tent where they don't accept offers below the top bid. This is also known as shill bidding. Its a shame they do that but thats legal in most states.

There was a V code 70 Super Bee (yellow) and an unrestored 70 Hemi Cuda sold today as well, but don't remember what they sold for.
