Does anyone know of a blue 500 with the wrong build sheet in it ? I am on a life long quest to find the one for my car 166356. The good thing is it has to be in a blue interior. :popcrn:

If a broadcast sheet that matches your car was put in another car, it could be any 1969 Charger model from the same plant, it would not have to be a 500, so expand your search.  ;)

Yep, all they were doing is following the zero garbage policy for the line. It could be in the car before or after, no matter what it was. My '69 Bee out of Lynch Rd had zero build sheets in it. Someone else got them, that or a can.

I think Mr. Hauler believes his ended up in another blue interior car because he's talking about the one in the rear seat.
At Creative, the seats were pulled out and stacked up, usually according to color.  Chances of having the correct seat sheet are slim indeed!
There were other sheets, like under the carpeting, above the glove box, etc.

There were not too many blue interior 500s built, compared to black, for example.
Actually, there is a pretty good chance another blur interior car does have it. Sometimes, cars were known to have more than one.    :Twocents:
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

:2thumbs:  This makes good sense.  Creative likely would have had no incentive to pay any attention to the build sheets in the seats.

But.....

If a 500 had a blue back seat installed in it that was intended for a 318 (or any other) Charger with a blue back seat, the 500 sheet could have ended up anywhere.

The back seat sheet for this car may have never been at Creative at all.

There are other places to look as mentioned, some cars have had 5 in them with as many as 3 matching the car.

Why on earth did they pull the seats out at Creative to play with the front end??

Thats my thought as the sheet that was in my car belonged to 164193 which I sent to them a couple of years ago. I know its a shot in the dark but maybe there was another blue interior car at Creative at the same time. Stranger things have happened. :shruggy:

My 500 had a build sheet for a r6 hemi 500 with black interior. My 500 is also r6 with black interior but a 440 car. I also found a part of my actual sheet under the carpet but it's only a small part that shows the last six of the vin, the rest is toast. I was gonna check under the speaker tray and fish around inside the headliner with and bore scope.

The backseat of my C500 had the build sheet from a an identically colored C500 which was only 30 digits difference in the vin.  I've always believed it to be a Creative Industries backseat swap. Fortunately I found one of my car's build sheets behind a kick panel.

I did my car over years ago and there was only the one sheet mentioned that was in it.  I haven't heard of more than one sheet in a car, lucky you found it...

I got lucky.  Possibly my car came with two sheets.  The one I found in the kick panel had no seat spring marks.  Possibly out there somewhere is 217190 with my second sheet in its back seat.

I have a build sheet with the VON of 925403.  Can't read the vin.  Was in car 217177 but was not correct for that car.  So if your Von is 9250403 I have it.

It's either F3 or F8.   Hard to tell.   Looks like F3 but can't be 100%  Very faint.    Green Interior.

Have you tried contacting Galen to see if he has any info or maybe a copy of the sheet? I've tried a few times myself but he never calls back.

I've heard the only calls he returns anymore are the ones that begin with "I've got $5000 and need to know...."
