Hemi cars are cool and that one super rare, but id still rather the 440 green c500

In this day and age it's hard to get over just how many Green and especially Green/Green cars were built back in the late '60's.  While I understand most peoples feelings about the color, it just goes to show just how popular this was back then.  If people didn't buy them, they wouldn't have painted them in these colors.  How many of you guys remember your parents Olive Green refrigerator and stove?
The last time I had my 500 out (early May) a buddy happened to be at the same cruise in and he told me how much he likes my 500.  While I was flattered I asked him why he liked it so much and he told me because it really reminded him of how it was back in the late 60's.  His dad worked at Chrysler and was a manager in the interior design department so my friend was in high school and right in the thick of the muscle car boom.  He said most of his high school parking lot was full of kids driving new loaner cars from their dad's car company.  He said the bright colors were very rare  and that the dark Greens and Blacks and Dark Blues were what everyone really had.
It sure doesn't seem that way today when you go to a big show, does it?

Its not easy being GREEN!

But F8 makes it bearable HaHaha...
But a Green interior is tooo much green, even for me...

F8 is the best colo(u)r for a C500, after B5!
