Is there any difference in a 68 and a 70 Charger dash harness.  If so, what are they.  I need a new harness for my 68 and found a 70, but not sure if there is any difference.
Thanks
Scott

I'm not on 2nd gens really but some are differences for sure.

Ignition switch harness/pigtail.
Hazzard and turn ligths harness/pigtail.
key in buzzer location, so of course wires.

Everyone because all those functions were relocated on steering column instead on dash.

beside that, ignition switch is not plugged anymore directly from underdash wiring, because the switch itself comes with harness already attached

Don't know about another extra difference

The Headlight switch is not the same ''no vacuum switch'', I doubt its wired the same eather, I'm pretty
sure one wire is not the same can't remember which one.

Oh. I was forgott that one... 70 hideways are electric operated and 68/69 are vacuum operated, so maybe also headlight switch/plug it could be some different.

About hidewayas harness, on 3rd gens runs with a different and separated harness throught firewall grommet linked to main harness with one wire. Don't know if is the same on 70.

I think is just one wire what sends signal to hideaways relay to make it works, not really the complete switch since on 3rd gens switch and plug is the same no matter if is hideaways equipped ( also underdash harness interchangeable with minor and non important differences and mods ), but as stated, I'm not 2nd gens knoledgment more that common parts on all Mopars, specially with 3rd gens.

I believe the horn relay is underdash in the 70 as compared to underhood on 68 models
