Can you use a 73-74 Charger rear wheel well molding on a 71-72 Charger rear wheel well? And vise versa? I know the front moldings are different due to the different cutouts between 71-2 vs 73-4.

the profile is different. 71/72 are smooth, 73/74 are stepped

I have wondering myself about the curve shape. I think is the same curve. Wheel housings are interchangeable per AMD but states they need slight mods to fit. HOWEVER they don't state where these needs to be mod'ed.

wondering about the front lower body line... maybe thats the diff and if so, then could be not interchangeable
Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html

Yes and no...... I have seen a 71 Super Bee with a 73-4 W/O molding on the rear. It fit the radius of the wheel opening but the body line bends are in different spots so it was very obviously wrong!

Nacho-RT74 & 71_Charger_R/T thanks.  :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

Going on those replies I'm going to consider it a no go to put 73/74 rears on 71/72 rears.

You can get single W/O moldings through Laysons. So if you only need the rears...... I see they have gone up a little. $89.00 a piece. For $32 more you can get the set of four without the holes punched in them. (I would get the ones without holes as the ones with holes don't line up perfectly and you end up doing your own holes anyway.)
