Last June, I was at the Cupertino DeAnza college show hosted by Mopar Alley. The Wife was with me and as we were looking at a nice Duster, a guy comes up to me and says..."You are...Kern Dog, right"?
I assumed the fight position because I know that I have angered as many people as I have entertained.
"JohhnyCharger" and his Wife introduced themselves and we talked for about 15 minutes. Nice couple. They have a Duster that the Wife owns that they are working on as well as his Charger.
I don't know how he recognized me through this small avatar picture. That guy should apply his skills to develop facial recognition software.

Lennard

You've posted pictures of yourself on f.b.b.o. and Moparts in the past. Easy peasy.

Kern Dog

Yeah, I suppose. I
Johhny did say that he was able to recognize me through a half faced picture. I was impressed.

Hey Reel.  I'm just up the north road from you (Sonora), and there's a few more Mopar guys hanging around in the triangle between Fresno, Sacramento and the Bay Area.  They pop their heads up here once and awhile.

As soon as I get my car up and running I look forward to meeting everyone. I'm hoping to have it drivable by christmas next year. I just got the engine out, sending it off to get rebuilt. Next is the trans. Then all new wire harness, trunk floor pan, gas tank, and fuel lines. After that it should be "drivable" to me.

I seen a guy here in town at the last local car meet. He drives a 69. Car was coming along nice but I couldn't find the owner anywhere. Hopefully I can catch him next time.

I had the privilege  to meet Lukedukem this past weekend. Thanks for the hospitality and the parts.
Most of the members I have met from this site have been very accommodating and good talk to with.

Tuxedo Park is only 45 minutes north of where I live, and Ossining isn't too much further either

To be honest I've only ever met but 1 Charger owner in my life and it left a bad taste in my mouth. I was about 26 years old then and fresh off a new score with my 70 RT. It was far from perfect but I loved it and was proud of it. This 69 Charger RT owner I met at a cruise in picked my car apart. This guy was cocky and after hammering my car I had to listen how the 69,s were the best year and all of that BS. Well he had me pissed off so I finally told him yeah my car isn't perfect and if I wanted a car with a split grill and taxi cab seats I would have bought a Pontiac. That conversation ended quick. I love all of the second Chargers I just can't stand a M-fer coming off like that.  Now that I'll have my car done next spring I might get out and go to Carlisle next year if I can get off from work.

brad mcintyre

there are dick heads in every walk of life you just found the charger one first .even on this forum there are one or two you just let it go and move on to some thing you enjoy . :shruggy:

Ghoste

What he said.  You will find some folks obnoxious enough to make you want to take up stamp collecting or crochet or something but overall you will see as you drive the car that you meet an excellent group of people.
