So, here I am waiting for the shop to come install my front and back glass, and I notice something looks funny.  I only have trim clip holes along the top edge of the back window.

I am assuming that there should be clips all the way around?

I may have to wait on the back window if that's the case...

Yes, they have to go in prior to window install.

their is a post on here that shows the location for the holes, if I find time ill try to dig it up for you.

UH60L

Yeah the body shop forgot to drill them.

Well, at least I got the windshield installed today...

So I searched through many threads on here about back glass, and it would appear I need 6 holes across the top, 7 across the bottom, and 3 on each side.

I can' seem to find any actual measurements.  I guess the important one is how far down from the lip of the window opening do they need to be.

Spacing would be great to know too.

If anyone has those specs, I'd appreciate it.

I think my friend and I are going to attempt drilling the holes this weekend.

Nice, thank you!

Quick question though, looking at that diagram, does that mean there are 8 clips along the bottom then?  (with two closer together on each side)

yes more or less , its to do with the bottom / underside edge  of the stainless trim clipping in to the revel moulding clips ,   most critical clip placement are corner clips ,  only had to plate up  the corners , so only needed to drill four holes , two each side , & this diagram was / is pretty accurate , IMO best try / lay all trim in class channel & see whats what / where the clips locate on the trim . with the corner pieces there can be no error , with clip placement ,

i await to be corrected on any of this  , because it was soo long ago since i done mine  !!  prolly 15 /16 years ago   :scratchchin: ,

Are all of the rear glass trim clips the same height?
Also, could someone tell me where the taller trim clips go for the front windshield?

On my 68 Charger:  10 Long Clips along the bottom of windshield.
Sides and top use the same shorter clips as the rear window.

I had ordered a set of clips from one of the suppliers, for a '68.
The longer clips were different than the ones I removed.
It appears my '68 was build during late '67 and I had to re-order '67 clips to match what I removed.
I remember talking to the supplier before re-ordering and got the right ones.

Late getting to this thread but just starting to drill the holes for the back window trim.  I thought there were 7 clips along the bottom of the back.  The drawing seems to show some clips located at the 2.25" mark that I haven't got.  That would make 9 clips along the bottom.  My back window was such mess, when I took it out, that I can't tell what's supposed to be there.

This thread ...   http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,23879.0.html

..shows a parts list with a total of 19 clips around the back, part # 6002 263, ref # 11,12,13.  5 at the bottom for the bottom trim; 4 for the corners, one at each bottom end for the corner and one more on the side for the corner trim and 10 up the sides and across the top for the top trim.  So what's the real story?  The real question is whats at the 2.25" mark?

Forgot to add 69 charger.
