How expensive was ur 69-70 charger when bought new? I broke down the options on a few of mine and this 70 Rt/se was $5206 new and I have a 70 r/t dealer demo that was $5106. Base 70 charger was $3001. A highly optioned car could of been more expensive than a hemi car, but then a highly optioned hemi car wins hands down lol. This car pictured below was 5206 but all I had was the fender tag to go off of. I used the 70 charger registry to get the prices per option

My first 69 Charger RT 440 w/auto and AM radio was $3800 (not the sticker price, that's what I paid,) new off the showroom floor.  Can't remember if it had any other options.

Anybody got a link to determine price of a 1969 Charger by options present ?
or,
know what Y14 'Sold Car' on the B-Sheet means ? Does that mean it was ordered by the dealership ?

Y14 "sold car" is in my opinion a customer ordered car.
With you (challenger340) having a Canadian car the price list is different the U.S. lists.

My father paid $5000 for his charger in 1968

I think between 3 and 3.5.  Next time I get a chance I'll ask.  It was an order for a family car.
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

Must be, emblem on the side plus... that was the only big dollar option.  $5K for a car back then was BIG bucks.

BigCE

$3608 according to the Registry. $500 in total options, bench seat A/C car.

Just did a calculation on mine, base price plus my options , I've come up with $ 4,948.70 . Unless there is more that I missed like the tires, floor mats.etc.

Yes, the prices would be different in Canadian Dollars, although I can find no "Built to Canadian Specs" differences on the Car itself, making it identical to a U.S. sold Model.

I have tried using the U.S. price list "Pocket Guide for Salesman", but depending upon how a guy reads it ? somewhere around $4,600-$4,700 when new, if Sold in the U.S.

I think the best way to price a Car is to take ALL codes present on the B-Sheet, then subtract the priced Dollar amounts for those options already contained in the "SE" Pkg. on an R/T model ?
However,
some ambiguity remains for me(NOT being a "numbers" type guy) around what was or was NOT part of A01 & A47 on an R/T.... things like G11, S81, R31, J46, G33, F25, 3spd wipers and on and on.. just not all that sure which were or were NOT?
Doesn't matter,
everything I have found is there and untouched since new, and more importantly still works so best left alone.

My base price early production 67 car was $3,134.  The 440 was an additional $313, and the AC was another $338.  All in, mine was $4,512.

Try this one but it gives no prices. Just a fender Tag Decoder.

The wheel covers also indicate it is a hemi. Those ones were only available with the hemi option.

By the time I was in HS it was known as Tom Matson Dodge. My dad bought two cars there in the 60s-70s

Was just sold last year and is now a Kia dealership....argh!
