Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

That's completely nuts for a non hemi car, maybe any car for that matter

moparfan53

Hmmm...  bidding on a car that you cannot see and/or inspect the final result?...  not for me... even if I could afford it.  ;D

They'll probably have more then $80k into it just trying to restore it. Unless they take short cuts & Earl Scheib it but then you can't call that a OEM Resto :scratchchin: :shruggy: :Twocents: :slap:

I didn't get to see the description, but was they selling it after they restored it?  It might be how he's drumming up business.  Sell a car as a project, yet have the owner take delivery after it's been restored.

I'm guessing most of their restorations alone are in excess of $100K...so they're not really charging for the 'core' so to speak...

He told the guy that was buying my Charger $75k but my car was 100% complete, running, rustfree, nice unrestored original survivor. BUT, If you got a rust bucket basket case only half there then you better figure over $100k +. LEON.

He is doing good work for mopar historical preservation.. although its still astounding to me the $$ people will drop on these cars.
