THe driving force behind ECS, Dave Walden has passed on after losing his fight to Cancer. A thread on Moparts stated that it was recently announced on Facebook. I don't use that cult-ish site so I cannot comment on the text.
I respected the man and his amazing skills. He was a bold guy that took heat from some real untalented assholes for his efforts on the 4 door Barracuda build. I came to his defense several times because most of his harshest critics were guys that likely had only a fraction of his skill.
RIP, Dave. I enjoyed what you brought to the hobby.

I knew about his fight this Winter, but it wasn't public knowledge AFAIK so kept quiet. David not only paid to pick up my OE 383 exhaust system (across the border), he had Steve make a jig, make me a compete system, sent me it for free (and returned my OE's)! Top notch in my books. Fearful what this means for Tom, Steve and the rest of the gang at ECS.

Sad to hear.  He had done a great job on his white Challenger

Bummer, Sorry to hear this sad news. RIP. LEON.

Was his primary business with OEM for VIN decals or something like that?  Be good to see ECS continue unless family wish otherwise.
