Hi Charger Folks,

Selling my 69 Charger and would just love to do a Daytona clone.
Anything out there at a fair price please?

Just put a wing and nose on the 500 you have and call it done.It would be a more accurate clone than anything you can buy,and you could always return it to 500 configuration,if you wanted to.

By a strange co-incidence that was already done in the 80's to my C500.
Cloned up as a real Daytona and sold to some unsuspecting overseas buyer.
There was a big Hoo-Hah and some folks went to prison for it...
You could fool folks back then as the vin info was quite vague for XX cars. :slap:

BUT the reality is without funds and easy access to rare and NOS parts a full-on resto is tricky at best for a Limey.
back when I bought the C500 the plan was to keep the car in Cali and do the resto there, with help from Moparmates in the trade.

As we all know 'the best laid plans of mice and Moparmen are doomed to fail'... :pity:
So a throw together Daytona clone is an easier option for an Overseas moparman...
