sounds iffy to me !  may be a joke  or   think someone is fishing ....  :yesnod:   although what happens if its real .... & that in a b5 superbird with slots in back ground .... think someone close needs to to check it out .... only if close by ...  just to prove it is a scam of some kind   :Twocents:  :shruggy: :popcrn:

The "I am 86" sounds like a scam line.  Still, If I was local I'd still check on it.

You never know till you ask

Most likely a SCAM !!  The entire car was once listed on CL for $70 large about a year ago and if I recall it was out of Georgia.   VIN 23VOA172640

I would of believed the $70K listing for the entire project...but that posting screams FAKE!

The devil makes work for idle hands and minds!

Its the stuff of nightmares for genuine buyers everywhere as this stuff is truly global...
I believe a well known member on here got duped a while back, by some Limey fraudsters?
As I said at the time, most Wingcars are known about and folks keep 'tabs' on them.

Yes the occasional 'diamond' turns up and that's what keeps the wannabees interested.
Trust me I've been a 'Wingcar Wannabee' since the late 70's... :popcrn: :pity: :yesnod:
Always a day late and a dollar short... :scratchchin:

Not exactly true as I once heard about a Petty Blue Superbird for sale, ten minutes after it was sold here in the UK.(1990)
Then there was the time I tried to buy a Daytona from GG and it was going well till I told him 'I was a Limey' nuff said, NO SALE! :slap:(also 1990)

As the wife always says ''If its TOO good to be true, then it probably is''.
Wise words from a NON-wannabee lol... :rotz: :rotz: :rotz:

Hi Folks,                 23 October 2020

The nose cone looks like it's 86;  it does have a few wrinkles. Noticed it appears to not have been flagged.

We like your wife's advice aerolith:
