Has anyone seen that this car is going to be sold at auction by the insurance company, XS29J8B361044 , was a hurricane Sandy victim of salt water in Long Island New York. :brickwall: I could not imagine the feeling that this owner must have dealt with. The ins. co. paid out $154,000. The car looks show perfect in the pictures too! What would a car like this be worth???? :shruggy:

Found it although it's locked cause it turned into a pretty heated debate:

More like a stupid debate by some who were accusing the owner of purposely letting the car sink so he could collect the insurance money.  ::)

Is'nt the car going to carry a "Salvaged" title now ?????

Why would someone do that? That's akin to burning one's home or business for the dough  :flame:

Might be a good explanation as to why he could not move all his cars in time.  :scratchchin:

Where is all this ANGER coming from?

I think its a hatred of GG1 or F8 again... ::) :'( :-\

Yes a GG1 or F8 Charger with a black vinyl is hard to come to terms with... :icon_smile_tongue:

But it can be fixed, either with a white vinyl or, heaven forbid a coat of GG1 or F8 paint (shame about the wheels)... :misbehaving:

Forget the engine and crazy value, its all about the COLOUR... :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol:

Green ''by the ocean'' coolio, green in the ''jungle'' err, great camo... :horse:

OMG that is an interior 'to die for', three pedals with dress-up chrome and 4-speed centre console... :notworthy:

KEYS LEFT 'ENTICINGLY' ON THE CONSOLE, please take for me for a drive and don't let me get wet... :slap: :slap: :slap:

Anyone who can't find time to drive a hemi Charger 'up a hill' to 'safe ground' has got ISSUES... :fireangry:
Never send to know, for whom the bell tolls,

Barrel Cuda or Tumble Charger?

More than enough room to 'jack-up' da Charger and place those tumble dryers underneath... :scratchchin: :scratchchin: :scratchchin:

I bet that 'Amazon box' ain't smiling now... :icon_smile_blackeye: :icon_smile_blackeye: :icon_smile_blackeye:

If you look at the current engine ompartment picture, the steering column shaft is still rusty. I wonder if the rusty door jamb switch has been replaced?

From the ebay listing "interior is original and very good shape".  Given its history suspect only half that could be correct - if original, not in good shape due to the floor or "very good shape because we replaced the water damaged one.

Always wonder if the current owner even knows the history
