Your front end reminds me of the Alexander Brothers Basket Weave method I think they called it. LEON.

In the past I've welded a bead along the edge of quarter to get rid of that rounded edge on the aftermarket quarters. bondo will crack to easily there. Leon.

I agree. That needs to be a metal edge.

HANDM

I can't even imagine what kind of coin your customers drop on such builds. I sure it's probably not enough as your skills are beyond incredible.
That being said, I want a 69 Charger built on a straight up 5.7 R/T but I'm sure i can't afford it ;)

If I win the upcoming Power Ball Lottery nearing $1 billion I'll have you build me a Car. Money will be no option. Leon. :icon_smile_big:

Well if you go to my youtube channel the build I did before this one was a Yellow 1968 Charger that I put on a 2011 Scat Pack Challenger. It was as stock appearing as I could get it considering the owner wanted to keep the SRT wheels and tires. Other than that we used pretty much stock stuff. It ended up costing him about $150,000.00 by the time we were done. That was his cost on the purchase of both cars, all the new sheetmetal, glass, trim you name it. It was practically a brand new 68 by the time we were done. That was me moving as fast as I could because he was on a budget. We pretty much doubled what he intended to spend but as you know that is a familiar story. Took me 11 months straight to complete and there are 45 episodes. If you are curious my channel is Steve Mirabelli and the series is " Don's 68 Charger body swap"

We can keep our fingers crossed and hope.

Well let's just say my rate for these projects is about 1/3rd of what most shops doing this kind of work charge. I was talking to my glass guy while he installed the windshield on my last project and he told me about a Daytona project being worked on over at Detroit Speed which is now owned by Holly. He said the project was already up to $800,000.00. That is not hard to do when the shop rate is north of $120.00 an hour. Some are charging $160.00  My Daytona took me 1800 hours to complete including body and paint. I will let you do the math.
