Nice. That's quite the trip in one hit.
Was there any other purpose for the road trip?

Furthest I ever took the 69 was about 800km but we were traveling with the Charger Club so there was plenty of back up should anything happen along the way. Fortunately, nothing did but it was reassuring to have a bunch of like minded friends in convoy.
We drank, barbecued and karaoke'd that night and held a small car display in the town centre on the Sunday before most headed home at their own leisure.
The trip there had pretty much ironed out any small concerns we had for our cars, so going solo was a breeze.

Gotta love a '69

There is an annual car show every Spring in Southern California that draws in the most people of any Mopar show in the state. I live 380 miles north of the show so I drive down for the show. I have driven this car to the show 9 times now.
It is nice to have the car sorted out enough to trust it for trips this far away.

No, the oil path goes through the block and into the shafts just like it has before. The oil pressure drop is supposed to be expected from roller lifters. Another guy at FBBO had a thread where he had almost exactly the same readings in his engine but he had Howards lifters. Everyone that responded thought his pressure readings were more than adequate. Still, any reduction from numbers you had before feels like a bad thing. I have to convince myself that I am almost at 1 1/2 times the minimum of 10 psi for every 1000 rpms.
