Quote from: Back N Black on January 02, 2026, 10:46:11 AMHow does Mopar flex compare to a chevy full frame on rubber bushings? I have been at car shows having this discussion and the chevy guys think uni-body is inferior.

The body on frame cars flex more because it is not a direct, solid connection to the body. The rubber mounts flex, the frame flexes, the body flexes. Look at how the rubber isolated Mopars from 1973 and later compared to the 1972 and earlier models.
Unibody setups make use of the firewall, rocker panels and roof to reinforce the floor, much like a roll bar.

Makes one wonder why there are so many unibody stiffening kits on the market...if they're so superior, why do they need such kits including the subject subframe connectors?
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

There is room for improvement in every design. Some leave a LOT of room, other designs need only minor changes.
