Howdy folks!  Been a long time.  Like 20yrs!  LOL.  Hope everyone is doing OK.  Anyhow, I found this in the garage.  It was removed from a 440 Charger with a 727, but I can't identify it.  Does it look OEM? Aftermarket?  The only distinguishing markings I can find are "4185" stamped to the turbine housing and a large "B" stamped on the mount side.  Thanks for your help!

It looks like it's for either a cast crank or a 6 pack engine based on the balance weights on it. I don't know if aftermarket converters were like that.

It's a 10 3/4" (11") 727 converter for a '73-'77 400-440 HP with a cast crankshaft. Industry rebuild number is 764MW.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Wow, Thanks John!  That's a wealth of information.

I'm probably going to sell it when I get some time.  Make me a fair offer if you're interested and it's yours.  I have a bunch of stuff out there leftover from a lifetime of projects. Just trying to sort through it.

Yeah, I sent something the other day and it was a small fortune.  Shipping costs are obnoxious.
