REAR shoulder belts, 3 point.

I'm only putting the shoulder belts in the left and right side. The middle belt will remain stock.
I attached the end of the belts to the stock location near the floor.



The anchor bolt was this design.



Note the area of the shank above the threads where the size is bigger. I had to grind the unthreaded area down to allow the bolt to slip through the bracket at the end of the belt. It works though.



Both sides are bolted down, the belts extend and retract normally.





This car was the test mule. I will do this upgrade to other cars in the future. I will need to cut holes in the package tray for the plastic belt guides...



So far, ONE car can be done for under $100 in materials including two sets of seat belts from the junkyard for $75, sheet metal for the mounts and a few nuts, bolts and washers.
