My 70 Charger is like the family dog, would you sell that? 31 years and many memory's later it was bought and repaired not restored. With a trunk full of tools it fed my family for many years and now like some put to pasture race horse it mostly sits. With 2 of my 3 children wanting to inherit it it's home is secure no matter what the market does. (But that's just me.)

I've had many try to buy my car. I won't sell it.

I do find this amusing.  The 68 Charger I bought I think 10 years ago for a little over 40 is back on vanguard site for 159. Very nice car but that's a lot of coin for a 383 auto.

What did you sell it for, that's a nice looking Charger.

I had to look it up.  So what happened is the gold 68 Was at a porsche dealer in Pittsburgh.  Was on hemmings for a while and not exactly the spec I would want but very very nice car.  I had a 1995 Porsche 911 that I traded for the Charger. (I had a little over 40 in the 993). That was January 2017.

A year later in January 2018 I bought my 69 Charger from a member here on this forum as a project.

Loved the 68 but have only so much money so listed it for sale on ebay. Also was tempting to swap out some parts beforehand but did not as I felt the 68 was so nice it deserved to keep it's parts.

Anyway, I didn't get much/any interest on ebay except Vanguard. They sent someone out to look at the car and I sold it to them for 58k.

Of course I knew it would appreciate but what it's worth today I don't know.

The porsche I traded for it certainly worth close to 100 today even as a high mileage driver I would guess.

In the meantime I bought a 993 c4s that's worth probably double what I paid for it.

I knew every one of the cars I was trading/selling would appreciate but without unlimited funds couldn't keep them all so did the best I could

Not bad, I wouldn't mind having a Porsche either
