1970 Plymouth Superbird 440 6 pack matching numbers. Original rear differential and I believe trans. I wanted patina nascar styling on it so that's what it has. If you want a sharp show car wouldn't be to hard to get it ready for paint. The motor runs great trans shifts and pulls great! I put EFI 3x2 fitech system on it. Also I put 4 wheel disc brakes on the car. I have driven it on a few short trips with no issues. Runs drives and stops great. Needs finished up to be driven regularly though. I have just lost interest. I have the original steel nose it's pictured and rough, car has a fiberglass nose on it right now, steel fenders and I have the original fenders that are rough. Has a fiberglass wing and hood. I have a lot of the original parts in boxes and on pallet wrack that go with the car. The steel plug for rear window is there and is a little rough so I have not installed it yet. Was weighing buying a new one. I do not have a rear glass. I do have rear seat frame, trim door glass quarter glass etc. lots of stuff comes with the car. Car has a clean title in our business name ready to transfer. The original fender tag is in a ziplock bag in oil to help preserve it. I ordered a new copy that is on the car. Also have a new door decal with vin that comes with the car. The Superbird was bought years ago with fire damage and had a bill of sale or non repairable type paperwork. I was able to title it in Kentucky where we are because I owned it over 5 years. So it has a clean clear title but did have salvage history. I am just being 100% straight and upfront with all the details. The original body was in rough shape so I bought a 70 Plymouth donor out of Texas that was in great condition for a Mopar. I used most of this body. I will give the buyer both titles to both cars and all the parts I have that buyer wants. I do have the trunk gutter with stamp from original car and I have the whole font section with the radiator support although I have not seen a stamp on it. I read that a lot of birds didn't have the radiator support stamp. Idk about that, but I have it anyway.

It's over $80,000 after 21 bids, that's crazy for a VIN swapped car.
"Dear God, my prayer for 2026 is a fat bank account and a thin body. Please don't mix these up like you did the last several years."

And the reserve isn't even met yet.
Wonder what they're anticipating it will bring..
Gotta love a '69

Back in January 2021, this exact vehicle (RM23V0A170851) was sold on Copart as a total loss. Photographs from that time reveal the devastating effects of the blaze. (Curiously, the ashes of wood were still left on the roof, hood, deck lid, interior, and headlights of the car, despite being photographed in the middle of a junkyard).

The dashboard was reduced to a melted puddle, and the entire cabin was gutted. Someone, however, saw the underlying potential and placed a winning bid of $18,100, rescuing the legendary Mopar from the crusher. The buyer faced a monumental task, as the original sheet metal was cut up and discarded because there was virtually nothing left to save.
