We've covered this before and had mixed views. So, without trying to sound too much like a jerk, I'm tired of seeing random eBay auctions posted in the General Discussion section. If I want to find anything on eBay then I'll go look there - I don't need to read an update on every listing here. They have really good search functionality of their own and I believe nearly everyone can use it without too much help. That's my own personal opinion of course and I realize that some people have a lot more interest in auctions than I do. However, sometimes there's an interesting item to talk about or something special that others may like to see so I haven't said too much about it. Well, I made some changes so pay attention (I'm sure someone will get mad at me any way...)

The new section is for eBay ads that are relevant to the other members of the board. If you are selling anything and have it on eBay then it belongs here. DO NOT post eBay ads in the other Classifieds sections. If you find a Mopar related item that would be of interest to the members here then post it in this section. If you post a link with no explanation/comments whatsoever then it belongs here. I will clean out the threads on a very regular basis because these ads all expire so it does no one any good to read them a year from now.

If you find an item that is funny, rediculous, strange, or worthy of some dialogue then feel free to post it in the General Discussion (car related) or Off Topic (not car related) sections. Just be sure to explain why you are posting it there. If you answer someone's "where can I buy..." question with an ad then that is ok too (this is mainly for new threads). If I can't figure out why the ad was linked or the purpose of its existence on these boards then I'll provide the same amount of courtesy shown to me by by deleting it (meaning I won't clean up and move it to the correct place). All I ask is that you use a little common sense in posting.

Enjoy!

Great, we can continue to watch the Charger prices go through the roof right here in the ebay section.  icon_smile_big

i also think that is a great idea. festiva.. what a moron. i mean it's cool to have that much free time to do that to a car(is it really), but the thought of getting made fun if so bad would never allow me to try it

Yet people keep asking for more...

I'm trying to make it as simple and organized as possible but there really is a LOT of information. We're still missing 5 or 6 sections from the old board but I don't want the front page to be too cluttered and I haven't had time to put them up.

I agree that much of the E-Prey stuff is just a waste of valuable space and much of our time. Yes, there is the occasional funny or WOW, but for the most part I find them to be an annoyance..

I think an E-Pay area would work well for me. I just won't be using it..

Just my 2%........

Way to go, Troy...thanks for your concerns! Since this is the eBay section, I wanted to get some opinions on buying cars on eBay. First, I do not mean to offend anyone in the Forum currently selling cars on ebay. I am merely asking for opinions on the ACTUAL PURCHASE of cars on eBay. Thanks for your help!

Don't buy a car without seeing it in person.

I find some of the ebay listings ineresting, but then again I don't go to ebay daily and search for stuff. Only when I have free time. I don't mind when someone list a link to a Charger auction if its a unique car or something along those lines.
