Hi,

I was thinking of installing a MSD 6A on my 99 Dodge Ram pick up. I'm hoping to hopefully get better
fuel economy with it. Do you think it will work? Has anyone tried it? Can it be done on a newer truck
like mine?

You might call the service department at your local dealership and ask there. I believe you've already got an MSD device on your truck- it just has a Mopar label on it.
Sixty-eights look great and the '69 is fine.
But before the General Lee there was me - Headrope.

I wouldn't think much, and it would take awhile for it to pay for itself anyway  :-\

it will improve , below 3000 RpM  the multispark will ensure the mix is fired & use less fuel & or make more power with the fuel used in the engine , above 3000 RPM it will not multi spark so on most race engines it will make no difference
