Our new little puppy Golden took up chewing on wall corners, baseboard & all.  I think I've went through a bottle of bitter spray.  We just had the interior walls painted too. 

Talk about commitments.  Now the girls' know why I put off getting one.

When mine was a pup I just rubbed a raw jalapeno on the chew areas and that crap stopped asap   ....but now he likes hot stuff. He will eat those Flaming Cheetos like no tomorrow....go figure.

Here are our dogs. Roxy is 2-1/2 years old, and Weiss is 12 weeks. What was I thinking about getting another dog....

Just kidding.    The puppy is doing well as Roxy is showing him the ropes. Sitting with his big sister at street corners before crossing, waiting until released, "leave it" command, ect. But I don't know what it is about cat poop (and we have two generators living in our house) that he loves....

look in the pet aisle or talk to the vet , they make a pill to give to the cats or any other animal for that matter (yeah i know, u can't wait to force feed a cat a pill) that makes the poop taste bad to the eater

Well...since we're sharing,  and I see many awesome pets here.....These first pics are of my dogs.  The black lab is Sabbath (female) and the new white lab puppy we just got is Maiden (also female).....The last one is one of my cats.  His name is Mister Whiskers.  He thinks he owns the garage......and its contents......can you say..."pound bound"?  haha

(his name is Spooky)  The other fluffy tuxedo is Marilyn...she came with the name because she has a little black dot above her lip...One more of Mister Whiskers trying to claim his territory.......

I have had cats all my life and now am about to kill one. It keeps going in my garage and pissing on my car cover on the car.  I had one cat that got run over and paid big bucks to fix it, never again. I may do the running over this time.

I lucked into an English Mastiff puppy this week. Not sure what his name will be yet....I'll decide tomorrow when I pick him up. He's right at 12 weeks.

My female bulldog named cleo, she acts like she's a human. This is how she sits when she rides around in my charger as well, I just have to a pillow under her so she can see out.

Well the time has come for me to add my story to this thread.  I was pet free for 3 years and now the kids and spouse are taking me to go look at a dog tonight.  I dont mind getting a dog, i had dogs when i was a kid, every kid needs to have a pet sometime, but i've told them i'm not going to be picking up dog crap with grocery bags everyday of the year.  They tell me, oh we'll all do it together, its going to be a family dog where the family shares the responsibility.   .   .  I know what that means....  Dad's gonna be on poop duty.
