Ghoste

The best way to replace the driveshaft would be to wait until you have the new motor and trans installed and then install the slip yoke.  Push the slip yoke all the way in and then pull it back one inch.  Measure from the center of the u-joint eye to the center of the u-joint eye on the rearend and get a new one cut.

ghoste is right wait till the swap is done to get the d-shaft cut

what driveshaft are you going to use?

i.e. i have the stock one from my 74 318 and i have one from a 66 c body that is much beefier from a big block 8 3/4 car

im going to use the 66 driveshaft cut down since it also has the anti vibration inside of it

now your turn  :P   what driveshaft are you going to use?

I belive it is the stock one from 69 with 318   8 3/4
