Who is the person your refering to building a clone out of a real 500? I haven't heard that name before there Dave.

Its a good looking car. could be a gentleman from Illinois as well who does have a B5 blue, 4 speed Daytona.

Gary Mendelow a ohio sports caster .Is friends with Mike G of Dayclona I ve heard.Thats where the parts for his real 500 to daytona transformation came from. This is the same guy I turned onto a junkyard 69 500 for $1000.00 some years ago .He later sold that car to Steve K of IL

I see. Do you know if it was a B5 blue 500 origionally? Or did he just choose B5 after converting it?

The one that was on Ebay is a legit 500. It is in a southern state, and I talk to the owner of the car pretty regularly. Its a very low mileage car as well, but doesn't have the #'s matching motor. I tried to buy the car a few years ago but couldn't come up with $50K. Boy how I wish i could have.

Now he is asking a bit more for the car.
