:iagree:

Dave's right - the bulk of the SPD's listed are between 4/27 and 6/10.  There are only a few that don't fall in that range...

1 has 2/07 (I still think this is an XS Charger R/T converted to a Daytona, without A11 on the original Fender Tag)
2 have 6/12
2 have 6/16
1 has 6/26

Thanks. To clarify....Daytonas did have different SPD dates unlike the A12 cars or the M code A bodies that had only certain days.

So production lasted from April to June of 69.

Thanks

Yup, that's it.  Daytona SPD's were pretty much all over the place in between there.  Danny can correct me on this, but '69 Charger 500 build dates had a range from Sept. to December, although I think none are recorded to have been built in October of '68.

IIRC Superbirds all have SPD's of B30 (11/30/70), so Chrysler went back to the same trick of a fixed build date for those cars.

Your almost right on the nail with the production dates for 500's there Gene. The first batch of 500's that went to the public was 9/07, and the last was C19, which is September 7th and December 19th for those new.

However there are a few that don't fall in that range for 500's as well. IE the first 4-5 cars I think there are 5, but have only heard of 4 so far, were built on August 21st. You are correct though in the fact that I haven't seen any that have a production build date of October. I have 821, 907, 914, 920, 927, 929, B14, B18, B20, B22, C04, C11, and finally C19. Those are the only build dates that I have seen on a 500 as of today.
