UPDATE ON MY DAYTONA -PIX

THE PAST FEW MONTHS HAVE BEEN SPENT ALIGNING ALL GAPS TO 3/16 AND THEN PULLING BODY FILLER OVER , THEN SANDING , AND THEN CUTTING THE GAP BACK OUT . ONE PIC IS OF MY WINDSHIELD CAPS , I HATE WIPERS AND WIPER POSTS. THE OTHER PIC IS OF MY WINDSHIELD FRAME I USE TO FIT A -PILLAR TRIM . THANKS TO ALL

Being a bodyshop owner, i have to say you did a beautiful job on the gaps. the car is going to look sweet! panel adjustment is the most time consuming job there is. you can have hours and hours just getting fit. but it is worth the work. keep us posted.

I know I will take some heat for this ! No wiper motor , smoothed over , all cables  will run along frame rails , one wire alt , only thing on firewall will be master cyl , no bulkhead con , only master and throttle cable , batt will be under latch tray . I generally dislike anything modified , but this super clean look is hard  not do . By the way heater hoses and a/c system will enter the cabin down low on firewall . All holes will be filled ,NOT  smoothed out with sheetmetal , only the stock heater holes , bulk-head con and wire looms will be eliminated

No I really like what you are doing.  I dont need to ditch my wipers though because they hide behind the hood on 3rd gens.     I would like to relocate the motor though. 

I would be really interested to see more of your progress pics, especially the mods like you just mentioned.  Im hoping to do alot of things like this with my car too.  I love the smooth look.

No way , motor will be all stock appearing , black wrinkle v-covers , stock dual quad air-cleaner , just no wires
