Hmm, maybe be I'm a bit dense this morning, and not grasping the obvious humor, but I think the purchaser of these blank CD's means that they are clear (i.e., see-through), not properly manufactured with a metallic coating and not functional. :scratchchin:  And I would be upset if 4% of my purchase was defective....

Exactly, there are 52 "discs" in a 50 pack but the top and bottom are just clear plastic to protect the real CDs.
