I figured it was, especially that that looks like the golden gate in san fran, great whites don't go in colder water I guess.

   I watched a couple shark shows on discovery last night, and there were some leaping big sharks that could launch that high out of the water to take out a seal on the surface, they would speed up under them super fast and launch out of the water, but I think it was around australia or something, might have been great whites.

actually there are plenty of Great White Sharks around here,..
just a few miles out side the straits are the Farallon islands where they hang out and pick off seals...

and some times the seals hide here in the bay... :yesnod:
I often see the seals with a casual glance at the water...

We also happen to have tree humpbacked whales in the bay just now..


this guy survived two separte attacks...  :-\
