11 pointer ...was hoping for 12  :'(, chasing some bigger stags , this one just happenned to be wandering around.

Didnt use a bow or rifle ...just gave him some of my wifes cooking  :smilielol:

cheers, there is 20 + trophy heads on the hill but they are more elusive

The great thing is that my home is 15 minutes drive to the hunting area and about an hour and a half  to 2 hour walk up the hill (depending on how you walk  / hunt )to where we caught up with this fella

Makes for a great retreat, doesn't it.  My favorite fishing hole is about a 15 min drive away and is quiet enough to get away from it all.  I guess you can call it a mini staycation.

I've got a couple of one I caught last year.  It was dry, so the rivers wasn't moving very much.

I don't have a scale, and he wouldn't hold still long enough to use a tape, so I put him up against the cooler instead.
