Sorry ! Please keep in mind I rode the short bus !
So did the builder, I see...the garage doors are all a little left of center in comparison to the window above. :icon_smile_tongue:

However, I sure like the trophies inside! :drool5:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I'm confused, the cars with the tall wings, are in the short garage doors. What gives?

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

I just heard from Pat the builder of Dayclona and he want edme to mention that:

If you happen to be on there again feel free to mention the show car parts ranged from excellent to lousy.  The important pieces – wing, nose were decent.  Z-brackets, front metal  I=beams and trunk metal stablizers were perfect.   Fender scoops needed additional fiberglass to shape. A pillars were awful.  Front grill frame cracked,  one front headlight bucket was misshaped.

But back when the  Cdn dollar was low the total from Showcars was $4500 Cdn. rather than $10,000 for Ted Janek's parts after exchange and shipping.

The worst things dealing with them were sending the $2,500 deposit and waiting for five month, and everytime I called, the guy who answered, not the owner,  was always preaching to me about finding the Lord ! – Really.  Anyway it all worked out...

and

Interesting comments on the forum – especially the one about the house window off centre !!! It's centered for the loft !! ha ha.

In talking with Pat and sharing stories of the process I believe that Pat's Daytona clone is one of the best clones alive. He also, as of the last time we talked, owned a S-Bird.

Still does.. He was thinking of selling, but he's now going to keep it it looks like.. Unlucky me, I was trying to trade him my hemi Charger for it.....   :icon_smile_big:

His Daytona clone is absolutely gorgeous.......
