I agree Grant. I won't miss them. I think I looked at the C & C thread maybe 3 or 4 times the whole time it was going. I will not allow a thread like that on my site.

i personally didnt see the problem with it for the most part, i mean yes some of the stuff was too much but most of it was pretty ok . well as it always  seems to go a whole group gets punished for the acts of a few!! ill tell something that does torque me off thou and thats when someone uses someone elses profile to post stuff! such as a spouse or kid or whatever open youre own if you want to be on here posting things. one last thing before i end this rant maybe im wrong but im guessing that about 99% of the members on this site are men whos intersts are mostly the same (1)chargers (2) females and the 2 of them at the same time should not be a bad thing.

Exactly. The biggest problem with letting these threads run is that everyone tries to top the last guy - even when they know it's wrong.

Obviously, I was ignored. The fact of the matter is that *I* am the only one legally responsible for what is hosted on the server and if *I* get sued or if *I* get my hosting account canceled or if *I* get blacklisted then it certainly affects more people than me. I really like most of the people here on the site but I'm not willing to take that hit for anyone. It would be nice if people would show a tiny bit of respect. I'd also disagree with that 99% figure but that's a topic for another day.

I think Troy does an outstanding job and many times let's things go further than many thought he would. Troy bears a huge responsibility giving us a playground so we should follow his rules of the court. I know of a few youngsters including my nephews who lurk in here and I don't think it's appropriate for them to see some of what is posted mostly by the same people each time. After all, it's a car forum not a porn forum so it should be family friendly.

Thoughts from a guy who enjoys the occasional chick pic:

1.  It's Troy's place, so we follow his clear and not unreasonable rules.

2.  Starting 18 similar threads with the same purpose after the first one gets locked just makes you look pathetic. 

3.  If posting chick pics from google on a Charger website gives you a thrill, you really need to move outta mom's basement and get a real girlfriend soon. 

4.  It's funny how getting laid regularly obviates the need to post pictures of random hot chicks.

Grow up...or just pretend for the sake of everyone else.

There are Mopar based forums where outright porn is allowed.  My suggestion to those who "need" it is to take your toys and go play over there if you don't like the way Troy intends to run this site.

I have help you know. It's so nice to know that I can take a few days off and things will be taken care of without stressing me out. Chris, Neil, Gene and Ron do an excellent job covering all the things I miss and they help keep me sane. When things become a problem I always have someone to ask for advice too. I wish everybody could be happy but I know that's an impossible task. Having members who are concerned about the health of the site certainly helps as well.

To be honest I never looked at either of the threads much and didn't really care for them. I like both cars and girls but they don't need to be together in the same picture. Especially as most of the pictures on the Chicks on Chargers thread didn't even have Chargers in them or even Mopars. It was kind of pointless in my humble opinion. I will not lose any sleep over them being gone and am sort of glad that from now one others won't arise. If I want chick pics I will google that and if I want Charger pics I'll come here or google that. Besides it will save a lot of bandwidth if we wouldn't post all those useless pictures.

I would like to make an exeption to the Picture of the day, that one is actually pretty fun, if some people would try to stick to at least somewhat recent pictures and not pictures of look where I was 5 years ago...

But luckily it isn't my job to police the site, that's Troys and the mods jobs and I am glad I don't have that job, some of you make it pretty hard for them. Especially the horny ones, I don't think I need to say any names...

  my problem is that foks wouldn't stick to the spirit of the threads, blantent posting of pics in front of ironing boards no matter how seductive wasn't the point, the point was to share favoites chicks on chargers was a good example,.. theire were some pretty good examples of "tastefully" taken pics. historical and personal, without joe blows buddy comming on and in a dozen clicks ruining the thread...

originaly on the old site i started a thread about how pissed i was about a particular thing,.. a rant if you will...
and somehow pics of skantily clothed chicks appeared to cheer me up,.. within a week it had gotten out of hand and i asked the thread be removed... it was,..
then on this new site Headrope put the criteria togeather for chicks on chargers and the thread was a favorite of mine and judging from the views, many others too..

so i suggested last week another thread be added to satisfy the overweling urge    of the less discriinate to post their favs...
perhaps that was a mistake and i would like to thank Troy here for his paitence with that...

but the peanut gallery got ahold of both and posted pics of whatever they could... or thought they could get away with...
