I just purchased the hookit pad and some 3000 grit trizact hookit paper. I cannot get the paper to stay on the pad. Especially using it with the DA sander. It seems to stick mildly if I press it in various spots but only holds for a few moments. Any advice would be great, because these discs are really expensive. I thought maybe there was a backing paper that had to be pulled off but this does not seem to be the case.

Thanks

there is a conversion  adapter velcro pad. that goes between the da velcro backing pad & trizac disc as the velcro is on the other way around  on these , as opposed to a  hookit  80 grit etc da disc

Yeah, there is 2 different pads. I run into that same problem all the time. Trying to remember which pad goes with which paper. Used to be only one pad then they decide to change to another, then some tell you the older pad or paper discountinued some say not, All a frustrating pain in the ass in my opinion. :brickwall:  :flame:  :RantExplode:  LEON.
