well chris twisted my arm and got me to order a new hurst shifter

  its got the six speed top indicator shift pattern and carbon fiber grips

Cool red velvet bag with gold draw string   ,  but I think its useless once i have it installed

no idea on the test drive as i m still waiting on the drive shaft and i still have to remove the tranny again to install the new throw out bearing/ slave cyl
  I also need to clean up and seal up the floor some more .  Then put down the foiled backed insulation and sound deadening .  then get all the interior back in it

couldnt wait , couldnt help my self had to see how it looked with the new shifter in it , i also wanted to see how it felt to shift it and how
comfortible it wiould feel to shift 

   It felt natural and looked fantastic   oh and chris its the shifter you recommended

You're car will be twice as cool now. Just because its a manual. Nothing looks as cool as a huge b body shifter.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

Nice 6 speed swap ~  :coolgleamA:  Now just get that driveshaft in and lets get some above freezing weather around here already!  Ive seen your bird since its first HPAC show, but having just joined the forum today (hey, Ive been busy) I just got to read a lot about how it was a 10+ year project, your setbacks with bogus body shops, your first wing being stolen  :RantExplode:, and just got a much better story of how that limelight ragtop came to be...    Glad you kept it together and saw it through, I think your brother would be proud!  :yesnod:
